3 get life term for murdering couple

MUZAFFARNAGAR: A local court Saturday sentenced three to life imprisonment for killing a 19-year-old girl and her lover. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 2,00,000 on girls brother Wasim,uncle Sanawwer and Abdul Samad.

Two commit suicide

KANPUR: A 21-year-old student allegedly committed suicide with his family claiming he was upset after he could not get a free laptop under a UP government scheme. In another incident,a student preparing for CPMT hanged himself in hostel bathroom Friday night,police said.
