SOG asked to probe missing student case

Five days after a BTech student went missing from Jhalwa in Allahabad,the police handed over the case to the Special Operation Group (SOG). The decision comes in the wake of repeated warnings issued by the local legal fraternity about launching an agitation if the police fail to crack the case within 24 hours. The missing student,Siddharth Kumar Tripathi,is son of a High Court advocate.
