Fourth seeded player Shruti Gupta of West Bengal upset top seed Bakul Negi of Dehli in the semis to reach the finals of the girls under-12 event in style,in the AITA Talent Series Tennis Tournament being held at SDS Academy,Lucknow. Veena Singh of UP caused an upset in the girls under-16 event when she defeated statemate Pragya Singh of the fifth seed 6-3,6-2 in the semi-finals.
The unseeded pair of Aditya Vishvakarma and Abhishek Kumar shocked second seeded pair of Arjun Singh and Devansh Mani 9-7 in the boys under-16 doubles semi-finals.
