Satish Singh murder: Shooter held

The Varanasi police Sunday arrested two persons in connection with the murder of Satish Singh,who was shot dead in Chaubeypur on July 3. They arrested Randheer Yadav alias Biradar Yadav,an alleged shooter,from the house of police constable Ravindra Nath Yadav in Manduadeeh locality. The constable was also arrested for providing shelter to Biradar.

Additional SP (Crime) Kamlesh Kumar Dixit said the police raided Ravindra Nath’s house and arrested Biradar,his distant relative.

The police said Biradar confessed to his involvement in Satish’s murder and also in a murderous attack on gangster Brijesh Singh’s aide Ajay Singh and his wife Meera on May 4.
