RPI (A) to contest 60 LS seats in UP

Republican Party of India (A) will contest 60 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections,party president and former MP Ramdas Athvale announced on Monday. He said a decision on which seats to contest in other states is yet to be taken and that the UP candidates will also be decided in time. “BSP appropriated and cashed RPI’s ideology with the name of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar but it only misled people. It betrayed Babasaheb’s mission by looting the people and hence its ministers and MLAs are behind bars,” Athvale said.
