Retd jawan held in Lucknow

The police on Tuesday arrested a 52-year-old retired Army jawan Ram Keval Pandey for allegedly making crank calls to as many as 21 women and harassing them.

The police on Tuesday arrested a 52-year-old retired Army jawan Ram Keval Pandey,who was currently working as a security guard at State Bank of India’s Gomti Nagar branch,for allegedly making crank calls to as many as 21 women and harassing them. These women had complained at UP Police’s helpline. Lucknow Range DIG Navniet Sekera said Pandey used to take the women’s contact numbers from the entry register of the bank,which he maintained. Police recovered four mobile phones and five SIM cards from Pandey.
