Noida: Engineer beaten up for power cut

Incensed over long hours of power cuts,Dadri residents assaulted a Junior Engineer of a power distribution company. The villagers reached Dhoommanikpur sub station Friday night and had a verbal duel with JE Yugdeep Mohan who was testing the metres,after which the engineer was beaten up. The company employees called the police who reached the site and pacified the villagers.

The JE has lodged an FIR at Badalpur police station naming two dozen persons,police said on Saturday.
