The body of a 30-year-old youth,Vipin Kumar Mishra,was found tied to a chair in his office at Goyal complex in Ghazipur area in Lucknow on Wednesday. The body bore injuries on the neck.
The police have detained three persons for questioning. Police said Mishra was running an NGO,’Anti-corruption Operation Committee of India’,whose board was displayed outside the office.
SP (Law and Order) Raghubeer Lal said one Preeti,who is associated with the group,visited the office and found it locked. She then called up Vipin’s brother Pradeep in Etah to inquire his whereabouts. The neighbours had told her that the office had been locked since last evening. When the door was broken open,”Vipin was found dead,his body tied to a chair,” said a police officer.
A native of Etah,Vipin had been living in Lucknow’s Sanjay Gandhi Puram for the last few years.
