Nepal national killed in acident

A Nepal national was killed and eight others were injured when a jeep collided with a tractor trolley in Nutanwa area.

Mahrajganj: A Nepal national was killed and eight others were injured when a jeep collided with a tractor trolley in Nutanwa area. Ram Chandra (35) was killed when the jeep carrying a marriage party to Windoliya village rammed into the tractor trolley on Friday,they said.

Five drown in separate incidents

Siddharth Nagar: Five persons,including two girls,have drowned in Rapti river in separate incidents,police said Saturday. Taufeeq (14),Ateequrehman (16) and Golu (15) drowned while taking a bath in the river in Bansi area on Friday,they said. In another incident,Ayesha (19) and Husna (15) drowned similarly in Bhawaniganj area,they added.

Teenager shot dead at wedding function

Chandauli: A teenager was allegedly shot dead by a man in a wedding ceremony over a petty dispute in Sakaldiha area,police said Saturday. Suraj Ram (19) was shot dead by a man,who was in an inebriated condition Friday night,they said.
