Minister puts on hold transfer list

The row between Mishrilal Paswan,who holds charge of Director,Women Welfare,and Arun Kumari Kori,Minister of State (independent charge) for women welfare and culture,regarding a transfer list intensified today,with Kori putting on hold the transfer list of employees in the women welfare directorate.

The list was released by Paswan,who presently holds additional charge of Director,Women Welfare. “I have issued orders to put the transfer list issued by Paswan on hold. This has been done as Paswan holds additional charge and is not a full-fledged director. The transfers need approval from a full-time director,” Kori said. She denied that the transfer list had been put on hold on complaints of irregularities. “There is no involvement of money or any other issue. It is on hold for technical reasons,” she said.

The women welfare directorate does not have a full-time director for the past two and a half months. Paswan said,“I received her letter regarding this and I have put all the 25 transfer orders on hold. I have not done anything against the rules,” Paswan said.
