BJP youth wing meet begins today

The two-day state executive committee meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM),the youth wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party,will begin in Meerut on Friday. Apart from national president of BJYM Anurag Thakur,other leaders who will be present include BJP state president Suryapratap Shahi and national vice-president Kalraj Mishra.

The issues discussed will include education,employment and political opportunities for youth. The concluding session will be chaired by national general secretary Anant Kumar.

BJPs Kisan Morcha organises farmers meet

The Bharatiya Janata Partys Kisan Morcha organised a Kisan Mahapanchayat at Manjhanpur village in Kaushambi district on Thursday.

Addressing the gathering of farmers,BJP national vice-president Kalraj Mishra said that farmers and agriculture were no longer a part of the agenda of the state and central governments. He said the BJP has always supported the farmers cause and will organise such mahapanchayats across the state.

Other leaders who addressed the gathering included state president of the Morcha Sushil Shakya and state BJP president Suryapratap Shahi. A memorandum of demands of the farmers was given to the governor through the district magistrate.
