Doc held with fake admission document

A doctor who has passed his MBBS from Seth GS Medical College,Mumbai was on Saturday caught while trying to get admission in the post-graduate course of CSM Medical University with fake documents. A case has been lodged for fraud at Chowk Police Station.

Dr Rajiv Ranjan Prasad,a resident of Patna,was caught on Saturday while he tried to get admission in MS (Orthopedics) course with the help of fake documents. On questioning,Prasad said he was duped by somebody in Patna who sold him the bogus documents after collecting a large sum of money from him.

Prasad claims to have given Rs 20 lakh for getting the fake documents,said SHO Chowk Narendra Singh Rana. He said the police are getting more details in the matter.
