Data entry worker held for Haj list hacking

Lucknow Police have arrested a private data entry firm worker who allegedly hacked into the server of Haj Committee of India and fraudulently entered 170 names in the list of Haj pilgrims selected through lottery from Uttar Pradesh.

Lucknow Police have arrested a private data entry firm worker who allegedly hacked into the server of Haj Committee of India and fraudulently entered 170 names in the list of Haj pilgrims selected through lottery from Uttar Pradesh.

Mehdi Raza alias Bunty,a resident of Bazarkhala area,was arrested on Friday from Lucknow. Police claimed that Bunty entered the names of fraudulent Haj pilgrims at the behest of two UP State Haj Committee workers – Mohammed Javed,assistant secretary,and Mohammed Abbas,clerk. Javed and Abbas have already been arrested. Bunty worked for the private firm Rise Think Tank,which was given the work of data entry by the UP State Haj Committee.
