Police have ruled out robbery behind the murder as nothing was found missing from the house. They suspect the role of unknown persons in the murder.
“The main door of the house was not locked from inside… The body has been sent for postmortem and its report is still awaited. We suspect that the woman was strangulated as we found marks around her neck,” said a police officer.
The woman’s husband is posted at Railway Police Force (RPF) in Tundala in Firozabad.
