He may have his highs and lows but one thing you can trust Salman Khan to do is set a few trends in motion. After his superhit act as a cop in Dabangg,a slew of Bollywood heroes are following suit. Ajay Devgn in Tamil film Singham’s Hindi remake by Rohit Shetty,John Abraham in Nishikant Kamat’s Force,Aamir Khan in Reema Kagti’s next and Abhishek Bachchan in Rohan Sippy’s Dum Maaro Dum will be seen sporting the uniform. What remains to be seen is whether any of them will be able to match up to the benchmark in cop act set by Amitabh Bachchan in the 1970s and ‘80s.
