‘Central schemes not being implemented’

Senior Congress leader Karan Singh,who is on a two-day visit to Lucknow,on Thursday blamed the state government for largescale corruption and poor implementation of Central schemes like MNREGA,midday meal,JNNURM. “The Centre has brought these schemes to ensure that poor get better benefits,but these schemes are not being properly implemented in the state,” said Singh. Singh,who is president of Indian Council for Cultural Relations,met renowned artists and cultural experts in Lucknow.
