Avi,Devansh bag tennis titles

Top seed Devansh Mani and 5th seeded Avi Gupta bagged boys under-16 and under-12 singles titles,respectively,in the Lucknow District Junior Tennis Championship-2010 held at RDSO,Lucknow. While Devansh beat Mridul Kharagwal 7-2 in the boys under-16 singles final,Avi Gupta outclassed Tanmay Sharma by 5-2 in the boys under-12 singles final. Around 100 children from all parts of Lucknow participated in the championship. Amitabh Sinha,president RDSO Sports Association gave away the prizes to the winners.

Selection trials
As per a press release from Sanjay Saraswat,Director Sports Authority of India (SAI) Sub-Centre,Lucknow,the selection trials for the year 2010-2011 for new induction at STC NS Sub Centre,Lucknow residential and day boarding schemes (boys & girls) will be conducted on August 4 and 5 at SAI centre,Sarojini Nagar,Kanpur Road,Lucknow.

CAL registration
According to KM Khan,secretary Cricket Association Lucknow (CAL),CAL is going to introduce a new format of registration forms for the clubs and institutions for the cricket season 2010-2011.

CAL treasurer Sameer Mishra has invited clubs for registrations.

The new format forms will be distributed to club and institutions on July 31 from 5.00 pm onwards at Hotel Elora,Lalbagh. Club transfers for 2010-2011 will take place from August 1 to 15.
