Unity College defeated Delhi Public School by eight wickets while St. Joseph College beat LPS Sector (D),LDA team by 41 runs in their respective quarter-final matches of the school league twenty20 cricket tournament being held at Lucknow.

Hostel trials
A total of 18 boys in the under-14 age group and 26 boys in the under-16 age group appeared in the divisional cricket trials organised at KD Singh ‘Babu’ Stadium,Lucknow. The trials are being held for admission to sports hostels established by the UP Sports Directorate. In volleyball,7 boys appeared in the divisional trials. The district trials in some sports were also organised on Wednesday.
