Khan explained UNICEF’s chief agenda,malnutrition,saying,“Kuposhan or malnutrition is one of the most dangerous things for a child. It cannot be recognised easily and,hence,is generally ignored.” He added that healthy children are needed if the country is to progress. Khan has reportedly foregone some his other endorsements to take up this role. The organisation has earlier roped in international celebrities to support its campaigns around the world. Some famous faces include Angelina Jolie,Mia Farrow,Shakira Mebarak,and football star David Beckham.
