10-year-old boy found dead in school premises

The Muzaffarnagar police on Saturday found body of 10-year-old boy hanging under mysterious circumstances in the bathroom of his house in Rampuram locality of Muzaffarnagar district. Shubham was a student of class IV at the Arwachin Junior High School. No suicide note has been found. “The postmortem report stated the death occurred due to hanging. The investigation is on”,said ASP,Muzaffarnagar,KB Singh. He added no injury marks were found on the body.

The police said,family of Shubham has stated the boy committed suicide but they could not give any reason for the extreme step. Shubham’s mother Deepa works as a maid in the school and the family was given a room on the first floor of the school building for his stay. Shubham’s father Raju works as a night guard at a private firm in Muzaffarnagar. Shubham’s two sisters and a brother also lived in the same house. “Deepa has been working in the school for the last few months. She was staying in the school since last week of July,” said school principal Satish Sharma. According to police,Deepa told them that Shubham did not go to school on Saturday and stayed at house for preparation of examination. She left for work at 7 am after sending other children to school. When Deepa came home for some work around 10.30,she found the boy’s body hanging.
