‘Won’t allow interference in skeleton probe’

AS the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) conducts an investigation into the recovery of human skeletons from Garbeta in West Midnapore district,Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday said no political interference would be allowed and the police and administration would work independently.

“Even Trinamool Congress leaders would not be allowed to interfere into the investigation,’’ said Banerjee. The CM’s remarks came after the CPM alleged that there was a conspiracy to implicate Susanta Ghosh,former CPM minister and MLA from Garbeta,in the case.
