Three arrested with fake currency

Fake currency with a face value of Rs 4,36,500 was seized by the police from three residents of Murshidabad district on Friday.

Acting on a tip off,the Special Task Force raided a market under the flyover at Sealdah and arrested three persons possessing fake currency.

The three arrested,who are in the age group of 25 to 28 years,have been identified as Nazu Sk alias Munna,Hasan Sk and Rahim Baksh,STF sources said. The fake currency seized from them was in the denominations of Rs 1000 and 500,STF sources said.
