Eminent theatre personality Kumar Roy passed away at a city hospital on Sunday after prolonged heart ailment. Roy had been associated with the iconic theatre outfit Bohurupee since 1949 and had received the Sahitya Natak Akademi Award in 1983. His body was handed over to the R G Kar Medical College and Hospital for the purpose of medical research.
