Proactive penalty
Many theories have been offered as to why Saugata Roy resigned as adviser to the chief minister on commerce and industries. The most plausible of them was that Roy took the job seriously, much to the chagrin of the minister in charge of the department Partha Chatterjee. Before the minister could do so,Roy even drafted an industrial policy and submitted it before the CM. Chatterjee did not like this and complained to Mamata Banerjee about statements Roy allegedly made in public about his department. The former Union ministers from the Trinamool Congress were appointed as advisers following the partys withdrawal from the UPA government. While the others remained inactive, doing precious little for the departments,Roy was proactive and that was not liked by Chatterjee, a Trinamool insider said.

While Shinde savoured prawns, bhetki and other kinds of fish cooked in Bengali style,Mamata ate only rice, dal and fried gourd (ucche bhaja). How can she work so hard by eating so little? many of them wondered.
Request falls flat

An article by Badal Bose, managing director of Ananda Publishers,in Desh magazine highlighted this by publishing the letter written by Gangopadhyay to Bhattacharjee. Though Taslima did not accept the flat, she later spread calumny about Sunilda, even after his death, Bose wrote in the article.
