Youth Congress activists damage police jeeps at Barasat on Thursday. Two police jeeps and a prison van were set on fire,a dozen vehicles were ransacked and about six police personnel were injured as the activists ran riot while protesting against online lottery,gambling and CPM’s alleged terror campaign in the area. The incident took place near the office of the superintendent of police,North 24-Parganas,at Moina. A huge contingent of police,including Rapid Action Force,has been deployed in the area.
