India have a major worry ahead of the Nehru Cup. Ace striker Sunil Chhetri is uncertain for the tournament after aggravating his ankle injury during India’s last exhibition match in Barcelona. Chhetri scored the winner in that match against Spanish third division club FC Santboia — a 17th minute strike from the spot. But he couldn’t continue for full 90 minutes and was replaced by Sushil Singh in the 58th minute. It is learnt that his ankle injury aggravated during the match. The team management,however,keeps its fingers crossed and the Dempo striker,who reportedly impressed Celtic scouts in Barcelona,is expected to figure in the Indian team for the Nehru Cup. The tournament will be played in Delhi from August 19 to 31. Before that,the team will undergo a camp at Gurgaon from August 12.
