Captain Edeh Chidi scored a brace and his partner upfront Subair Muritala Ali struck once as Mohun Bagan beat Mohammedan Sporting in their Calcutta Football League premier division match at Yuba Bharati Krirangan on Thursday. The win took the defending champions to 28 points from 11 matches,five points adrift of league leaders East Bengal. Md Sporting stay rooted on 19 points from nine matches.
