IGNOU inks pact with Intel

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) on Thursday signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MoU) with Intel to announce a national initiative for empowering teachers through in-service programmes. The programme will be delivered through IGNOU Institute of Competency Advancement of Teacher (iCAT) centres.

The MoU identifies four sections,under which training will be imparted. These courses can be offered as capsule or as continuous enhancement programmes.

The pact was signed by U S Tolia,Registrar,IGNOU,and Anjan Ghosh,Director,Corporate Affairs Group,Asia Pacific,Intel.
