We lived,talked and breathed cricket these past few months. The tournaments may have ended this season in India,but that doesnt mean their influence is dormant. Harsha Bhogle,one of Indias most prominent cricket commentators,along with his wife Anita,an advertising professional,recently unveiled their co-authored book,The Winning Way,inspired by cricket and theories of what make winning teams.

Drawing on the theory that talent alone doesnt guarantee success,the management book explains the importance of combining ability with the right attitude and the passion to excel. The Winning Way also delves into what makes successful teams and uses analogies from the world of cricket and the people who manage the game. These analogies,according to Bhogle,are very relevant even to those in businesses that dont have anything to do with the sport.

The Winning Way was launched recently in Mumbai by cricketers Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli. Priced at Rs 200,it is in bookstores now.
