While adjudicating on the cancellation report given by CBI in favour of Jagdish Tytler in an anti-Sikh riots case,a city court on Saturday examined a CD purportedly showing him at Teen Murti House on November 1,1984 — the day he is accused of inciting a mob in Delhi. According to CBI,Tytler had given to them six CDs to put forth his defence — a prime reason for giving him a clean chit. On Saturday,Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Rakesh Pandit watched one of the CDs with the CBI counsel and the counsel for a riot victim. Counsels H S Phoolka and Vrinda Grover later raised doubts over the veracity of the CD before the court.

The counsel for Lakhwinder Kaur, widow of victim Badal Singh, requested the court to allow them watch all the CDs. Accepting the plea,ACMM Pandit asked them to watch the CDs on November 16. The matter has been adjourned till November 26.
