Two held for sodomy,murder

The Delhi Police has arrested two persons for allegedly sodomising and murdering a 20-year-old man in Bawana on November 25.

The Delhi Police has arrested two persons for allegedly sodomising and murdering a 20-year-old man in Bawana on November 25.

The body of the victim,Sagar,was found in Ganda Nala near Ishwar Colony. The throat of the victim was found slit,the police said.

According to the police,Sagar was a resident of West Bengal who worked as a domestic help in Bawana.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer) Chhaya Sharma said: “The accused,Satish alias Pandit and Devender alias Kala,were apprehended from the same area. A sharp-edged dagger,the victim’s mobile phone and their blood-stained clothes were recovered from their possession.”

According to the police,the accused confessed to the crime during interrogation and informed that they were under the influence of alcohol when the incident happened. The accused told the police that after they forcibly sodomised the victim,they decided to kill him and dump his body as they feared disgrace.
