Three held for molesting help in Vasant Kunj

Three men were arrested after a domestic help levelled allegations of molestation against them.

The police said the victim claimed the three men molested her after calling her to their residence in Vasant Kunj on the pretext of paying her salary for three months. The police said the victim works as a caretaker at the residence of an American citizen,Joenil,in Safdarjung Enclave.

The woman claimed Joenils friend Anil Sehgal called her up on December 1 and told her Joenil had asked him to pay her. She reportedly went to their house in Vasant Kunj,where she found Sehgal consuming alcohol with two of his friends,identified as Chander Kant and Kamal, a police officer said.

The three accused allegedly molested her there. Later the woman managed to escape and approached the Vasant Kunj police the next day.
