Talwars framed by CBI: Defence

The case against their clients was built by the CBI in a one-month period,based on “false information and devious intent: Counsel representing Rajesh and Nupur Talwar

Continuing their final arguments,the counsel representing Rajesh and Nupur Talwar told a sessions court in Ghaziabad on Friday that the case against their clients was built by the CBI in a one-month period from September to October 2009,based on “false information and devious intent”.

The counsel said that during this period,three prime witnesses added new information to their accounts for the first time under pressure from the CBI.

Rajesh and Nupur Talwar are standing trial for the murder of their 14-year-old daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj on the night of May 15-16,2008.

The final arguments revolved around the role of Dr Sunil Dohre and Dr Naresh Raj on Friday. They had conducted the autopsies on Aarushi and Hemraj,respectively.
