Did you develop a taste for adventure with Khatron ke Khiladi?
I have had an adventurous streak always. Even though I didn’t know how to swim,I had made plans to go white-water rafting. But if you were to ask me if I’d go sky diving before I did Khatron Ke Khiladi,I’d have flatly refused. After I did the show I realised the excitement is worth the trauma. I still can’t swim but I might experiment with a few stunts.

Are you an experienced hand at vehicular stunts?
I’ve gone off-roading with my friends a couple of times. Of course,it wasn’t a professional experience. We went to a small village nearby where there weren’t any roads and drove on the growth. On one such trip,we realised after a while that we had been dragging a barbed wire along, which can be dangerous.

When did you learn driving and what was your first vehicle?
I come from a small town where the means of commuting are usually a bicycle or scooters and bikes. When I was in college,my family decided to buy me a vehicle so I could commute and I suggested we buy a scooter so that my dad can drive it too. My friends taught me how to ride one and so my first vehicle was actually an LML Vespa, which is now being phased out,I believe.

Would your role as a presenter on Apollo Flight of the Hawkz also involve partaking in the adventure?
The show will have the contestants journey from Lavasa near Pune to Goa,and they will be required to perform stunts and physical as well as mental tasks. I will be travelling in the lead vehicle and will also be doing certain stunts while off-roading with the contestants.

Does the show need you to train too?
I am a good driver and my strength is that I can think on my feet. I maintain my fitness levels at all time so I don’t have to undergo any training for now. But there is a special stunt team designated for the show so as and when I am expected to perform, they will train me.

Will you again go on a show like KKK?
If I don’t have to perform any edible stunts or perform any histrionics for the camera,I am game.
