Unlike all the roles youve done in the past, your character in Wanted is quite glamorous. Was it a conscious decision to take it up?To an extent, yes. I was glad that something stylish like this came my way since I love dressing up. I dont even step out for a drive unless I feel I am looking my best. Did you share your inputs for your characters look? The director,Prabhudheva, had already designed my character to be glamorous. Manish Malhotra and Ashley Rebello helped style the look. I let them decide what and how they wanted to see me. Which was the sexiest outfit you wore in the movie?Theres a red halter dress I wear in one of the songs. I love the flaming colour and the fit of that dress. Your own sense of style is pretty casual. Which piece of clothing do you think is an essential in your wardrobe?I find style in simplicity. Hence,I love all my denims. I prefer to team a simple,well-fitting white shirt with slim jeans to anything else. My favourite jeans are from True Religion and Miss Sixty. Do you experiment with your looks or would you play safe?I understand my body type and dress accordingly and hence I hardly go out of my way to experiment. T-shirts,shirts and tops with jeans are my staples. Besides,Im just 24. So I think I dress according to my age. When Im 30 and my sense of style evolves,I will perhaps dress up in gowns for social dos. Would you ever cut your hair into a bob?Never,I dared to colour my hair recently after three long years so you can imagine how reluctant Id be to go the whole hog. Id be too scared since my hair takes time to grow. On family occasions,do you go the classic way or mix contemporary with traditional?Im too conscious and orthodox to try any cuts and styles,so traditional is how I like it. In fact, the sexiest outfit in my wardrobe,Id say,is a black lace sari. Where in India do you shop?I feel India is always a season or two behind in terms of fashion. London,Bangkok and Dubai are my usual shopping destinations. But I picked up some trendy stuff at Falguni and Shane Peacocks recently. Otherwise,I think Manish Arora does some fabulous work though wearing his designs need a lot of guts. How high are your heels?Heels do wonders to the body posture so you will almost always find me in heeled shoes; I wear anything between three to six inches. What are your makeup essentials? An oil-free foundation for a creamy look, light brush of blush, lip balm or gloss in neutral colours, mascara and occasionally kohl too.
