The Met Office has forecast an overcast day ahead with the possibility of thundershowers in the evening.

Rains accompanied by winds on Sunday brought much needed relief to the people of the national capital which had turned unusually warm in recent days.

The Met Office has forecast an overcast day ahead with the possibility of thundershowers in the evening.

“Delhi, till Sunday afternoon, received 8 mm of rainfall. The weather throughout the day is likely to remain overcast,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

The minimum temperature on Sunday morning settled at 15 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season’s average. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 27 degrees Celsius.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 98 percent.
