Following a series of attacks on churches in the capital over the past few months, the Delhi Police has made elaborate arrangements to ensure security at all churches during Good Friday and Easter celebrations this week.
More than 10,000 police personnel will be on duty on Friday, police said.
According to police, armed guards will be stationed outside each church to ensure that there are no incidents of violence.

Station House Officers have been asked to prepare a detailed list of churches in their area along with a map detailing the dimensions of the church. A detailed mapping of churches have been done and duties assigned to personnel, an officer said.
Those churches which do not have CCTV cameras have been given extra security, police said. According to police, barricades will be placed along a 1-km radius of all churches.
Two sub-inspectors, two ASIs and three constables will be stationed at these barricades and an intensive checking of vehicles will be carried out.
“The personnel stationed outside churches have been asked to keep guard. Anyone who is seen trying to be mischievous will be immediately apprehended,” a senior police officer said.
The SHOs have been asked to patrol their area thrice on Good Friday. Police have also sought the help of traffic police at important intersections to ensure easy traffic flow during the festival, police said.
