You can soak in the view at the Residence Lounge at the Park (picture) which is organizing an exhibition to highlight a very different event: in collaboration with publishing houses, the hotel has launched a series of book readings this month. “We’ve put together a programme to promote the habit of reading, writing and listening. One can celebrate the city even as we celebrate its exciting,up-and-coming writers,” says Anushree Banerjee of the hotel. The readings kicked off last week with writer Aatish Taseer and actor Arunoday Singh. While Singh read out passages from Taseer’s first book Stranger to History (Picador),Taseer read out from his upcoming novel The Temple-Goers which will release in 2010.
