One seat per course reserved for orphans from this academic year: Ambedkar University

In 2023, the University of Delhi had started offering two seats for orphan students, one for a male and another for a female in each programme.

Ambedkar university, Delhi, will reserve one seat per course for orphan children in the upcoming academic year, according to Professor Anu Singh Lather, vice chancellor of the Delhi government-run University.

During the brochure launch for undergraduate and postgraduate admissions for the academic year 2024-25, Lather said: “From this time onwards, a provision for the reservation of one seat under the orphan quota has also been made in each programme. The entire fee will be waived for students taking admission under this category.”

This year, a new masters programme in Public Policy and Governance has been launched, which will begin with 60 seats in the current academic session, read an official statement issued by the University.
