If you are between 5-17 years of age and have a taste for art,here’s good news.

If you are between 5-17 years of age and have a taste for art,here’s good news. Your work — be it drawings,paintings or cartoons — might be displayed at various places across Delhi.

The Shoobh Arts Competition,in association with Lalit Kala Academy,is organising an art competition for all city schools. The theme is the Commonwealth Games.

“Platforms like the Shoobh Arts Competition will help reveal India’s emerging talent,” said Padma Shree Anjolie Ela Menon,painter and head of the competition’s jury board. Lalit Kala Akademi Vice-Chairman K R Subbanna described the event as something that will give young minds “space to showcase their exclusive talent”.

Various paintings from the Shoobh Arts Competition collection would be exhibited in museums,public exhibitions,Games sites and key locations across Delhi and NCR. While the entries have to be submitted to the Delhi centre by August 31,the names of winners will be announced on September 5.
