The Organising Committee has decided to donate the linen in rooms of the Commonwealth Games’ residential towers, including bedsheets, towels and pillow covers,to hospitals and charitable institutions. The OC,which is also planning to sell the entire kitchen equipment in one go,has already launched the process. Equipment set up by various federations at the training areas and other places would also be dismantled and taken away. The gym equipment, however, would remain in the training area, which would be converted into a DDA sports complex.
