NDMC gets new chairperson

Jalaj Srivastava has been appointed as the chairperson of New Delhi Municipal Council. The former Trade and Taxes department commissioner was transferred to Andaman and Nicobar in 2011. Srivastava’s appointment order came on July 25. An AGMU-cadre IAS officer from the 1984 batch,the 52-year-old chairman met with former chairperson Archana Arora and other department heads on Friday.
