Mystery around death of IB inspector’s son in Noida

An FIR has been lodged in an alleged murder of the son of an IB inspector. Kapil Sharma (25) was brought dead to a hospital in Noida on Friday night. Nityanand Sharma,a resident of Ghaziabad,has filed a complaint in Sector-20 police station Noida naming four persons for the murder of his son.

On September 24,Kapil had come to meet his girlfriend Mona,who lives in Sector-25,Noida. Nityanand claimed that Mona called him around 8.30 pm on Friday informing him that his son had fallen off from terrace. “My brother K K Sharma lives in Noida. I informed him about the incident and started from my home at once,” alleged Sharma in his compliant.

According to the police,Mona’s father Paramjeet Singh Bedi did not approve of the relation. “The two families were neighbours two years ago and later Sharma shifted to Ghaziabad. Kapil continued his visits to Bedi family,” said Arun Kumar,SHO,sector-20.

“I saw Bedi in hospital. He fled after seeing me,” said Nityanand. Postmortem report of the victim confirmed that he suffered ante-mortem injuries due to fall. The family of Bedi,accused of murder by Nityanand,is absconding.
