The stench from a body that had been lying for around a week in the balcony of a flat in Gurgaon prompted a call to police Saturday. A team reached the Serenas Society in Dhunela only to find that the man had been killed at his own house allegedly by a staffer at his grocery store after an argument over non-payment of salary, said officers.

The resident of the flat was identified as Rajeev Ojha. His daughter filed a police complaint stating that her father, who was from Bhilwara, ran a grocery shop in the Serenas Society where he lived alone on rent.
