A 10-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and molested by her neighbour in East Delhis Ghazipur area on Tuesday evening. The victim was playing outside her house when the accused took her to an isolated place and molested her. The accused,Durgesh,has been arrested,police said.
Govt officer pens collection of poems
Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Monday released a book titled Shahar Sone Chala,written by her Information Officer Sat Pal. Sat Pals third book is a collection of his selected Hindi poems on different aspects of society. Speaking on the occasion,Dikshit said Sat Pals poetry reflects realities of life,while underlining the importance of harmony,peace and brotherhood.
Use sustainable method to repair roads: CRRI
The Central Road Research Institute has advised Delhi to use cold-mix to repair its potholes during monsoon season because otherwise the rain delays the progress. According to a press release issued by the CRRI,using cold mix instead of hot mix can be tied to sustainability because the longer roads stay a mess,the more it affects traffic.
