Browsing a thousand titles for your kid can be a task,but the forthcoming Butterfly Books Exhibition at the British Council promises to be fun. Butterfly Books promotes international titles for children and adults and has been gaining popularity among the former thanks to its specially designed exhibitions. The children’s range will have bedtime stories,picture books,pop-ups,encyclopaedias and miniature books,apart from sound books with magnetic add-ons,finger puppets and jigsaws. The price ranges from Rs 50 to Rs 700. If you have hyperactive kids,the ready-to-use robot warrior kits with remote control could keep them busy. There will also be titles for adults on health,interiors,computers,crafts,cookery,gardening and architecture. “If you enrol as a member at the British Council Library (BCL) or renew your membership during the exhibition week,you can get free books for up to Rs 2,000 depending on the membership plan,” says Anu Bharadwaj of the BCL.
