(Representative/ Express file photo by Abhinav Saha) A meeting was held by the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) to discuss the status of land falling within the sector/master (major) roads from sectors 58 – 115 and on the progress on the laying down of master services in these sectors.
Chaired by Chief Executive Officer P C Meena, the meeting reviewed various hindrances to the ongoing projects. The CEO also issued directions on land acquisition, compensations, demarcations, etc, as required on various sector roads where development projects are to be executed.
“All concerned departments will cohesively work together to resolve any hindrances on priority in order to provide all master services in the city and to expedite the pace of the projects,” said Meena.
The CEO also directed the LAO, Urban Estate to resolve the compensation issue in respect of these lands. Further, he ordered the removal of temporary encroachments erected within the alignment of sector roads to ensure the seamless connectivity.
He emphasised that the key points of master sector roads of 71/73 and 72/72 A, sector 70 A outer and 79/79 B, Central Peripheral Road where hindrances are present and master services such as sewer network, water supply and master roads are to be provided. Meena also directed the officials to approach the HSIIDC for handling over the land for construction of the master road of sector 81/81A.
