It is hard to stick to work commitments. But I will work harder this year and focus on making this year fruitful.

It’s time for resolutions.Celebs share their big plans

Chitrangda Singh, actor: It is hard to stick to work commitments. But I will work harder this year and focus on making this year fruitful.

Ken Ghosh, filmmaker: Having spent 25 years in the industry,I have realised that one doesn’t have any control over work. So I will be focusing on my health instead. Rather than saying things like I will quit smoking,I will consciously drink more water because I don’t drink enough.

Ritu Dalmia,CHEF: Going out more often, cooking for friends every month and getting drunk at least once a month. I have become boring and that needs to change.

Anurag Basu, filmmaker: Starting today,I will answer every phone call and reply to each text message I get. People have start assuming that I am arrogant if I don’t respond for two days. But that is because I never keep my phone near me.

Mithu Sen,artist: I want to be happy with my work and love life and love everyone even more. At the end of each day,I want to say it was a good day —it’s the most simple thing to do,yet hard.

Sudhir Mishra, filmmaker : There are too many temptations to repeat the kind of work others are doing in my field. So I plan to live out of Mumbai and spend more time up north in places like Bhopal,Lucknow and Delhi where I can think clearly. Also,I intend to quit smoking.
