Four killed in mishaps

Four fatal accidents were reported from various places across the Capital in the last 24 hours. In the first case,a 27-year-old man was hit by a vehicle while trying to cross a road near Mayur Vihar Phase-I on Sunday night. The driver,Rohit Srivastava,has been arrested.

In the second incident,a labourer,Sushil Pandit (22),was killed while two others were injured when a truck hit their tempo in Chanakyapuri,at 11.30 pm on Sunday.

In another incident,a 35-year-old man,Rakesh,was riding his bike on Naraina flyover when a truck rammed into him around 1.45 am on Monday. The truck driver,Munna Rai,has been held.

In the fourth incident,a man was hit by an unidentified vehicle while he was trying to cross a road in Anand Vihar. Arjun Singh from Uttarakhand died on the way to a hospital.
