Football trials

The Delhi Soccer Association ( DSA ) will hold an open trials – cum – coaching camp from October 3 at 3.00 pm onwards at Modern School,Barakhamba Road,New Delhi to select Delhi junior girls team for for participation in the Junior National Football Championship for Girls- 2013-14 scheduled to be held in Orissa from November 10 to 30. The girls born on or after 1. 1. 1996 are eligible to participate in the selection trials- cum – coaching camp. Interested players may report to the convenor/coach on Oct. 3 at 3 pm alongwith their original date of birth certificate at the venue.

Shivam shines

Half centuries by Shivam Sharma (94),Kunj Sharma (80) while disciplined bowling spells by Shivam Mavi (4/35) and Harshit Sethi (3/51) helped Ghaziabad Wonders beat DDCA President XI by 145 runs in the 6th All India Cash Money Yashoda Cup cricket tournament at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium.
